Unfortunately, due to overwhelming demand and some glitches and delays, many LEGO fans missed out on the Ulysses Space Probe special. In real life, the Ulysses Space Probe was deployed by the Space Shuttle Discovery in 1990 on a mission to scan the Sun, so the two sets went perfectly together. You might remember that when the #10283 LEGO NASA Space Shuttle Discovery was released last year, it was mentioned that LEGO VIP members will also be able to purchase the exclusive Ulysses Space Probe for 1,800 VIP Points.
